I didn’t notice her before…but now I do.
The shiny strands of gold in her silky brown hair.
Tiny crinkles between her eyebrows when she frowns.
Her passion for neatness.

Once I focus on her, I can’t take my eyes from my newest obsession. Ever.
I need to know everything about her.
Her past. Her present.
The way she takes her coffee.
Exactly how she smells after a spritz of perfume in the mornings.

She’s perfect in every way and I was blind.
But, God, now do I see.

I notice the organized way she arranges her clothes in her closet.
How she visits the same market each Saturday.
The sounds of her breathing as I lie beneath her bed in silence.

Violet is mine.
She just doesn’t know it yet.

***WARNING***
Notice is a dark and unusual romance. Extreme sexual themes and violence in certain scenes, which could trigger emotional distress, are found in this story. If you are sensitive to dark themes, then this story is not for you. If you aren't into super obsessive stalkers, then this story is not for you.

Review by Lorena

This book had me completely consumed, from beginning to end.

What would you do if you thought your boss was ridiculously HOT but he's never bothered to notice you.  You've done everything to impress this jerk who never acknowledges you, doesn't bother to compliment your hard work.  So you pretty much have had it and need to find a job where your hard work and dedication is appreciated.

When Violet decides to give her notice, Gray FINALLY notices Violet.  It might be a little late, but now that he's finally seen Violet he becomes this obsessive stalker who can't stay away from her.  He finds any way he can to be near her especially since she won't budge and doesn't want to continue working for him, even though he has promoted her.  He's gotten to the point where his tendencies are downright creepy.

But little by little Gray is managing to break down Violet's walls.  Violet also was a little skeptical in letting Gray in her life because of her past.  She's still afraid and she feels like eventually it will catch up to her again.  She's trying to avoid that as much as possible and she's afraid to finding another psycho like her ex.

So what would you do in Violet's situation,  if you found out that your boss is stalking you?

This book was intriguing, suspenseful and downright fascinating.

I  have not read a book with a stalker involved and especially with a woman who is damaged and is afraid to let anyone in her life after the life she has led before.

Totally different from what I'm used to reading,, but I really, really liked this book.

Ms. Webster never fails to amaze me.  I have read quite a few of her books and each and every one has been very different and I love that about this author.

I have to say, this book earned more than 5 stars in my eyes!
