I think we both have our work cut out for us. **Book contains graphic language and adult content.** Review by Lorena  I know that it states that even though this is a stand-alone we should read Forever Red first, but honestly I didn't feel lost one bit. I get that Mike has had a thing for Lia and I'm sure the first book in the series might have been a little complicated with her having two men pining for her. But reading Out of the Blue, I kind of followed what happened in the first book so I'm okay if I didn't get to read Forever Red first. Mike has been summoned by Lia to come work for them and work as security for the hottest country singer out there. Although people keep trashing her and calling her all sorts of names and saying that she's ruined a marriage, but she just doesn't care what people have to say anymore as long as both her and Nate know that the rumors aren't true and they're exactly that, rumors! But when Mike comes in the picture and he starts being Molly's protector, the inevitable happens. As much as neither one wants to get serious but they both figure they're stuck with each other for however long it is and it's basically just them, they might as well have a little fun and enjoy each other. But what neither one expects is to actually start developing stronger feelings for each other. They've always been good friends, but it seems like their attraction is deeper than they thought. Molly has a secret that she doesn't want anyone to find out about, but when she returns home to pay her mother a visit, it seems to all come out and she's afraid that Mike is going to retreat and think badly of her for once he finds out about her past. But little does she know that Mike is there to support her no matter what. What she has done in the past, she did for a logical reason and he's not there to judge her. He, on the other hand, has a few issues he needs to handle himself with his ex-wife in regards to their son Jake. Jule's just doesn't get it and thinks that she can get Mike back and tries to use his kids against him. So what will Mike do, will he relent and go back to Julia or will he fight for Molly's love? I thought this was a great book, had a great plot and a little bit of mystery going on. It had some sexy scenes that had me all hot and bothered and Mike just has this sex appeal that makes you want to jump into the book and be Molly lol! Carina Adams has done a great job and I might just have to go back and read Forever Red so I can get to know Mike and Molly all over again in a different aspect, but I'll get to read Lia and Nate's story and how they hooked up.
