Promising Today is the intense fourth and last book in The Emerson Family of Shattered Cove contemporary romance series. If you like spirited heroines, grumpy heroes, and steamy scenes, then you’ll savor A. M. Kusi’s emotional roller coaster. 4 Heart Review by AshleyI don't even know where to start with Promising Today. It was everything you want in a series finale and so much more than I expected. Nova was so much more than I expected in the best way. I knew from the previous books in the series that she was a spitfire but I had no idea how much pain she carried from all she had survived. I loved that as much as her family was there for her, she wouldn't let them in. Wouldn't share her agony. But with the gruff and tumble Jude, it all just poured out. Her trauma and trepidation. Her desires and the danger that was lurking. In turn, he found a way to let himself feel something other than guilt. When the truth of their link was revealed, it sent Nova reeling and Jude scrambling to prove his feelings were real. From start to finish Nova and Jude's opposites attract romance was sexy and suspenseful. Dark and dangerous. And while I had a hunch who was behind it all, I had no idea things would get as twisted as they did. My pulse was pounding and I was reading as fast as my eyes allowed to see how it would all pan out. Whew! Talk about intense. And while I'll be sad to say farewell to the Emerson family (seriously they are the best) I'm looking forward to what A.M. Kusi has in store next. About the Author A.M.
