There was steam and suspense but at times I found myself wanting just a bit more of the connection between the leads. That being said, I liked Minnie. She was gracious and kind. Talented and in over her head with a stalker that keeps getting closer. Which is exactly how she finds herself under the protection of Gavin King. The brooding bodyguard that couldn't keep his eyes, ears or hands off of his charge. While I wish there was more time trying to figure out who was behind it all, the race to get ahead of them kept me flipping the pages. A plan, a moment that changed it all, a sacrifice and another twist that left my jaw on the floor. From start to finish, Minne and Gavin's journey was full of danger and scandal and left me wanting more.
