I underestimated Axel and how easily he could draw me in as a moth to his flame. He was going to burn me alive. 4.5 Heart Review by Lorena One of my favorite tropes to read -- Enemies-to-Lovers and I can tell you that this book certainly left me with a feeling of satisfaction. Having to know both characters and what they both have gone through in their short lives is certainly something not to laugh about. Merick has pretty much lost everything she's ever known and now has to start over in a completely different setting and environment that will certainly leave her feeling out of place. But she's going to put her head up and just start her new life trying to not end up in any bad hurdles. Axel has definitely not lived a great life up to date and he needs to let out steam and who better than to get that done with!! YES, he has set his sights on Merick and he plans on making her life a living hell...but we'll have to see how that all pans out with them both and see who surrenders to who in the end! I was captivated, mesmerized and so in-tune with this book that I lost track of all human life. I can tell you that I highly recommend this magnificent bully romance that will leave you with a satisfied smile in the end (no doubt about it)!
