It forces you to look at your own prejudices and lay them to rest. The characters in this book have so much depth to them. So many things that make them wonderfully who they are. It is what Deacon and Angel love about each other. And what their families despise about their pairing. Talk about a twisted tale of half truths, lies, deception, betrayal and loyalty.
