Vincent: Forgetting about Eve was the plan. Finding her at a party on my college campus was the last thing I expected.

But letting her go again isn’t an option—not this time. Juggling the life I want with the one I was born into may be near impossible, but for her, it's a risk I'm willing to take.

My world has turned into a house of cards, where one wrong move can send it all crashing down…and us with it.

Eve: Finally at a prestigious university—and on the path to living my dreams—I’ve left the darkness of the Blue Houses behind. Still, a whole new host of problems await me.

Vincent is here.

He's king of the school, complete with a society princess by his side. I thought I wanted to know what he was hiding, but unlocking his biggest secret leads me into entirely new territory laced with danger and lust...one I’m not sure I’ll survive.

*RISING must be read before reading RECKONING.*

4 Star Review by Ashley

You know how you read a book and sometimes you're just dumbfounded at what you read? And when can you get more of it? Yea- that's my current situation. Thanks Jessica Ruben. If I thought Vincent and Eve's were intense in Rising then I'm not quite sure what word to use to describe Reckoning.

I loved the push and pull. The back and forth. All the highs and lows Eve experienced as she was learning to navigate her new life. And how she still hung onto the hope of Vincent, even with the truths she was learning about him. Gah! I really liked seeing this other side of Vincent. In his own POV too!

For as gentle and kind as he was with Eve, he was the polar opposite when it came to dealing with his business and Daniela. Ugh- she puts new meaning to the phrase "mean girl". I could feel the intensity and stakes rising with every page I read and kept waiting for the bottom to fall out from under them. And when it did...holy wow!

My heart was equal parts racing and breaking at the end. Eve and Vincent's story can't end this way! They are so much more than circumstances they can't control. They're fire and passion and understanding and dreams. Reckoning was a perfect storm of angst, romance, chaos and love. I am so ready for the conclusion to Jessica Ruben's trilogy!
