Desperate for the ultimate forgiveness, Melissa Jackson offers herself up in the most selfless way. But, by atoning for her past, she could lose her future as she tries to keep her secret from unraveling at the feet of the man she adores.

Daniel Hadley becomes enamored with the wrong woman at the right time. Forever the playboy, Dan falls for the redhead with a jaded past, but all he can see is the gift she so freely gives. Her soft spirit and noble gesture have him head over heels, even though it could be his undoing.

Hoping to right her wrongs, Lissa embarks on what will prove to be one of the most difficult challenges of her life. Clueless to the turmoil she hides, Dan plans for a future that might never be. Together, they set off on a journey to discover their path and fulfill their destiny.

Review by Lorena

Stephie Walls is fast becoming one of my go to authors.  After reading Bound and Freed, I  knew I wasn't done reading more from this author, especially when I found that Redemption was about Dan and Lissa, characters that were also important in the Bound & Freed series.

We get a woman who is broken beyond repair and does nothing but blame herself for something tragic that happened to her in the past and she's ashamed of what happened.  She has left her hometown and has moved as far away as she possibly can to find redemption for what happened.

Lissa and Dan meet accidentally and within a matter of a short period of time, Dan has fallen  head over heels in love with Lissa, something he never thought would happen.  He met her by mistake and he's glad she was the biggest, best mistake he could have made that night he met her.

As Lissa is trying to cope with herself, her feelings and her past, she's looking for redemption, or more like finds it in love once again.

This story has touched my heart just as much as Bound & Freed has.  Ms. Walls has a way with words that will leave your emotions reeling.

This whole series has been one of my favorites thus far this year!

I absolutely loved this story and was so happy that Dan and Lissa got to tell us their story.

4.5 stars
