When a vicious attack leaves 25-year-old Clementine Johns with no memory, she's forced to start over. Now she has to figure out who she was and why she made the choices she did - which includes leaving the supposed love of her life, tattoo artist Ed Larsen, only a month before.

Ed can hardly believe it when his ex shows up at his tattoo parlor with no memory of their past, asking about the breakup that nearly destroyed him. The last thing he needs is more heartache, but he can't seem to let her go again. Should they walk away for good, or does their love deserve a repeat performance?

4 Heart Review by Ashley

Kylie Scott is an author I will read blind and that is exactly what I did with Repeat. I had no idea what I was walking into and let me just say- my mind and heart got all kinds of twisted up. This second-chance romance is unlike anything I've read before and I was addicted from the first confusing page.

There was something so endearing about Clem as she tried to figure out who she was again. I liked that she didn't try to be the same person she was before the accident. She followed her gut and for the most part it didn't steer her wrong. Especially where Ed was concerned. Oh Ed. Even though Clem was the one who was physically hurt, I feel like he had the hardest road. Trying to reconcile the old Clem and their volatile relationship with the woman who accepts things at face value and doesn't hold a grudge. Her lack of filter alone had me rolling.

It was when more dangerous activity kept popping up around Clem that brought out all of Ed's protective instincts. And in the midst of this unknown threat, there was this budding romance.  But holy unexpected- when the danger escalated and the mystery of who was behind all of it was revealed, my jaw was on the floor.

I will say that the ending felt a hair rushed but otherwise Kylie Scott nailed it with this book. Everything about Repeat, the cover, the characters, the humor, the sex, the charm, the mystery- all of it- kept me absolutely glued to the pages. Clem and Ed's second-chance romance was refreshing and sweet and dramatic at times and romantic. Watching them fall in love all over again melted my heart.
