Blaire Gibson knows better than to have one-night stands.

She prides herself on her decision-making skills. It’s the one asset that has never let her down. But even the best thinkers have weaknesses. Hers is a delicious business mogul with a quick tongue. Unfortunately for her, that tongue is good for more than just talking.

Holt Mason doesn’t need to justify anything to anyone.

He wants Blaire. He pursues Blaire. And he gets Blaire because that’s how his life works.
Until it doesn’t.

What begins as a single night in a hotel room spirals into an unusual agreement. As late nights provide the space to trade secrets and walls come tumbling down, more is shared than just pillow talk.

They both should’ve known better. They should’ve shown restraint. Because when guards are dropped, hearts get hurt.

4 Heart Review by Ashley

A new family of awesome southern brothers from Adriana Locke with a Gibson crossover? Yes, please. And thank you! Oh my heart, I devoured Restraint. With its wit and sexiness and angst I couldn't help but get swept away in this not so slow-burning romance.

HOLT FREAKIN' MASON! I don't even know where to start with this dreamboat. He was so dedicated to his job and his family, his own happiness was at the bottom of the list. Until he ran smack dab into the force that is Blaire Gibson. She did more than knock him off his axis. She made him take a long hard look at his life and his priorities.

I loved how much Blaire changed in the span of this book. How she learned to let go. To feel. To let others in. And maybe she let Holt in too much for her own liking but it was so sweet to witness her letting her guard down. But as the clock on their time together started to tick away faster and faster, neither one of them knew how to ask for what they really wanted. To try.

Ugh! Cue the chest squeezing. They just needed to get out of their own way. They would figure it out, they had to because they were absolutely miserable without each other. But oh my goodness! The way Holt and Blaire redeemed themselves was absolutely perfect. And, sorry mini spoiler alert, I was beside myself with laughter when Holt met Walker. Full of family and friendship and feels, Restraint is just the start of what I am sure is going to be another kick ass series from Adriana Locke.
