Their books always touch on something that makes you pause and look at how you're living your own life. And Risking Forever was no exception. I really liked Elise. She was smart and sassy. And even though she was down on her luck, she never counted herself out. Especially since she landed her dream job, just not the dream boss. Roman was a tough shell to crack at first. He was angry and rude and downright mean sometimes. But Elise managed to keep her cool and little by little, he started to thaw. There was no denying the chemistry between these two. I kept waiting for that bubble to burst and when it did...whoa hot! More than that though, I loved how they saw each other's pain, loss and grief and didn't try to change it, because there was nothing that could. They just gave each other a soft, safe place to lay it. But sometimes, the silence spoke louder than words ever could. Elise and Roman's sunshine-grumpy romance checked all the boxes. It was tender and sexy, witty and heartfelt and laced with its moments of miscommunication and drama. There was just something about the way this was written that had me torn between wanting to devour it and trying to read more slowly so it wouldn't end. About the Author A.M.
