Ten years ago, Lane Lewis said goodbye to the only home he’s ever known.

Now that Midnight Fate’s tour has ended, he’s more determined than ever to find a balance between music and life. But sometimes reality’s a joke, fate’s a lie, and history’s meant to repeat itself.

Ten years ago he shed the pain, but now it’s seeking revenge.

Noelle Nash is a hopeless romantic with a dirty mouth. After almost giving up on love, she’s been lured away from her safety net to try one more time with Lane.

She’s willing to do whatever it takes to hold onto the man she loves, but her fierce protectiveness even takes her by surprise.

Can she learn to accept the truth? Or will she let her fears consume her, leaving her with no choice but to walk away?

Six months ago their future began. Today, it’s about to get rocked.

4.5 Star Review by Ashley

Just when I thought Gia Riley couldn't surprise me, she puts out Rock the City. Full of heart, heat, humor and hope this is my new favorite from Riley. The main reason being Noelle. If you've read Rock the Boat then you know all about this firecracker. I was pleased to see the rest of Midnight Fate along for the ride in this one too. Easton and Lark make a few hilarious appearances that gave this book the lightness it needed.

From her sharp tongue to her soft heart you can't help but love Noelle. As I got to know more and more about her adventurous spirit and the harsh reality she lived through I found myself rooting for her to get her happy even more. She is a perfect balance of sassy and sweet. Thank goodness for Lane and his patience- and his ability to speak "Noelle". He got her on a level that no one else did. With a simple look or touch he was able to calm her and make her feel safe. They were both so ready to re-connect after so much time apart but you know what they say about best laid plans.... It was the addition of an unexpected character that proved to be the biggest yet most gratifying challenge for both Lane and Noelle.

I can't say too much more without giving away all the goods but just know that I flew through Rock the City. I was hooked from the first page and didn't want it to end when I got to the last. Gia Riley shocked and delighted me with the touch of danger she threw into the pages. It was nice to see that addition to her writing and she handled it perfectly. It wasn't overdone and hit just the right note. This book is real and honest and proves the power of family and love. And that ending- oh my happy heart- it was absolute rockin' perfection!

About the Author

Gia Riley is a New Adult and Contemporary Romance author from the small but mighty state of Delaware. She's a lover of all things romance - a firm believer that everyone deserves a happily ever after. She loves strawberry smoothies almost as much as she loves reality TV. When she's not writing, you can find her roaming the aisles of Kirkland's, up to her elbows in Play-doh, or trying to hunt down spoilers for Big Brother. Her newest addiction is a Starbucks iced mocha - they keep her up late, doing terrible things to her characters.
