These boys of Pembroke Academy certainly have won themselves a spot in my heart. Each and everyone that I've read so far has been excellent and I love these boys and girls. They definitely were made for each other and each individual book has such a unique story to tell about them. Phin and Aurora have had a major crush on each other for years now and when they got the opportunity to move forward and kissed each other, they knew that this kiss was what sealed the deal, or at least Aurora did, but then Phin had to go ruin it all the same day they first kissed. Aurora has given Phin nothing but hell since that first time they kissed and she refused to listen to him try giving her an explanation as to why he was caught kissing another girl the same day. Now Aurora has been playing the field trying to hurt Phin every chance she gets and he gets angry and does the same. Talk about a bad game they're playing because they're just hurting each other in the process. But then Aurora is caught in a dilemma that she needs to see her way out of and Phin overhears and comes to her rescue, he proposes her to be her "fake" boyfriend so she doesn't have to go through the ridiculous proposition her mother has given her. The question is, can Phin and Aurora play nice and act like a real couple in order to fool everyone? I think not, these two are way too much in love with each other to try and act a part that they don't need to act, but Aurora certainly loves to make things difficult!! I absolutely loved Aurora and Phin, especially Phin because we all had a different perspective of him from reading the other books and what was said about him. But boy did he prove all of us wrong! He was nothing like everyone pictured him to be and his heart only belonged to one person and that person was Aurora. Now he just needed to prove to her that he wasn't the playboy that everyone classified him to be, he was made for one girl and that girl is Aurora <3 The Hellfire Club is certainly a series that will live in my heart!
