It was a wonderful mix of the suspense and sweetness that Corinne Michales can merge unlike any other. I liked Emily a whole heck of a lot. She was nothing if not determined to make it. Given the opportunity of a lifetime to make her dreams come true, she grabbed it with both hands and went all out. Imagine her surprise when an old friend shows up to a show one night. Enter the sexy cowboy Cooper Townsend. I liked that as they were building their "relationship" they were actually apart from one another. Seeing a lighter and more easy going side to both of these career conscious people was a nice change of pace. But as the nature of the seemingly innocent threats surrounding Emily escalate, protective Cooper stepped up to the plate and secured her a bodyguard that puts the smash in Hulk. Tensions continued to rise as the culprit continued to evade security and get to Emily. I kept waiting for the creeper to get caught but it just wasn't happening. The longer it went on the more my mind was playing whodunit. I knew it was coming but I didn't all the twists and turns it took to get there. When I learned exactly who was behind all the danger, I couldn't believe it. Nobody could. Total jaw on the floor moment. Emily and Cooper's new and tender relationship was more than put to the test by this mans hands. But it also forced them to face their feeling head on. For as much as my heart raced, it was beating steadily and happily when all was said and done.
