One word.
Stay.

It was all he had to do. Instead, he got on that bus and took my heart with him.

That was seventeen years ago.

I moved on. Marriage. Kids. White picket fence. Everything I ever wanted, but my husband betrayed me and I was left once again.

Alone, penniless, and with two boys, I had no choice but to return to Tennessee. He wasn’t supposed to be there. I should’ve been safe. However, fate has a way of stepping in.

This time around, the tables are turned. It’s my decision. Second chances do exist, but I don’t know if we can repair what’s already been broken . . .

4.5 Star Review by Ashley

I am a HUGE fan of this book! Corinne Michaels went for it and I enjoyed reading something different from her. That is not to say that she didn't completely rip my heart out with Say You'll Stay because she did. From the very first page- the dedication- to the ending- wow. Can you say heartbreaking? I got misty eyed and found myself rubbing my chest to try and ease the ache that was there.

Oh how my heart went out to Presley and her boys. I wanted to wrap them up until they could breathe again. On top of the unthinkable loss they had all suffered, there was the inevitable fallout that left Presley reeling more than she already was. I fully understood her reaction- I felt it- her anger and despair and all-consuming sadness. Having no choice, she did what she never thought she would do- go home to Tennessee. This decision was not made lightly and more than abandoning her dream she was terrified to come face-to- face with the man who wrecked her world years ago- Zach. WOW- insert sexy cowboy. I didn't like Zach right away- he grew on me as I got to know him more and more. This guy with his southern charm and innate sexiness had me smiling and Presley flustered. She wanted to live in the pain of their shared past but his acceptance and kindness towards the twins melted her heart and her panties. He more than made up for the transgressions of his past through his actions and words.

And that is really all I can say without giving away all the glorious-ness that is Say You'll Stay. This book was emotional to the tenth power. Corinne Michaels grabbed me by the heart and didn't let go until it was all said and done. Though it wasn't all sad- there was a good dose of humor and steam mixed in to break up the heaviness of the story. A lot of that humor came from Zach's brothers, Wyatt & Trent. The antics of those two had me in stitches. And there was everyone else you would expect in a small town, too. From the gossipy ladies to the mean girl- they were all there. And they all played a role in Presley and Zach's progression from enemies to friends back to more..There was heartbreak and loss. Family and fear. Lies and hope. Friendship and horses. Small town antics and big city dreams. But most of all there was love. The unconditional kind that comes from family and the contentment that comes from finding the other half of your soul. While Zach and Presley's road may've been far from easy, it was uniquely theirs and wonderfully beautiful. GAH! I am so ready for more books with these characters- fingers crossed it won't be too long!
