I just didn't get the same emotions and gripping intensity that I got with the first book. At some points in the story, the author would say one thing, and then repeat it, but just wording it a different way. The sex was lacking in heat and intensity, it honestly seemed boring. Angelina just seemed complacent and boring, which negatively impacted the story. While I did feel that Angelina and Shawn had a little bit of chemistry, I feel that their relationship wasn't anything to write home about, though after that ending, I am ready for the next book, when Angelina finds herself reverting back to Fallyn.
