He attempts to unearth her secrets, only to find more. As she opens up to him, he wants to return the favor, but being a detective means he has to lie about his career. It pains him to keep things hidden from Brenna, but nothing hurts him more than when he opens the hotel room one night to find out she is part of the same business he is planning to expose. Review by Lorena  Selling Satisfaction was definitely a well satisfied read for me. The author couldn't go wrong with the way she wrote this story. It will pull you from the moment you start til you are finished. You will feel sad emotions, laugh emotions and love emotions throughout this book. Everett Burke is a detective who was moved to another state and has to start an investigation of an escort business. Little does he know that the one woman he falls head over heels in love with happens to be an escort. Brenna Konners has always lived a pretty sad life she went from foster home to foster home until she couldn't take it anymore and ran away at the age of 17. She met a woman who took her in and showed her how she can start earning lots of money by being an escort. Brenna loved her job, she loved the fact that she could afford whatever she wanted, whenever because she knows how it is to live with no money. When Everett happens to move in the same building as Brenna and they become fast friends, Everett is a perfect gentleman and he knows that Brenna is hiding secrets but he'll give her time and let her tell him at her own pace. Brenna doesn't want to fall in love and has kept her heart guarded, but it has become very difficult with Everett and little by little Everett starts breaking down her walls. But Everett also harbors a secret and that's that he's a detective, he can't let Brenna find out because he's working a big stint right now and no one can know what it's about. What will happen with Everett and Brenna? Will they both discover their secrets they're hiding? This book totally took me for a loop and I loved every second of it. The whole mystery and the whole unfolding of the story. The secrets and the lies that either brought them together or lead them further apart! Ms. Beale, I give you props for writing such an excellent story and keeping us on our toes with this one ;) 4.5 star read!!
