4 Star Review by Ashley After the way Sexiest Man Alive ended I was itching for the next installment and M. Clarke did not disappoint. Thank goodness Sexiest Couple Alive picked up right where the last one left off...Things moved much faster in this one and there was a lot more happening for both Olivia and Nathan. I enjoyed that while the book focuses on the both characters, it was more Olivia-centric. I really liked getting more of her side of the story because I hadn't connected with her that well in the first book. I had a total change of heart with her willingness to put herself on the line to protect those she cared about, namely Nathan when Troy came to cause trouble. If I didn't like Troy before, because I didn't, then I don't know what words to use to describe my level of dislike for him here- loathe maybe? Anyway- that man is nothing but trouble and leaves wreckage and turmoil in his wake. Ugh I wanted to throttle him for his childlike, selfish and destructive behavior and the situation he got Olivia and Nathan into. Nathan is just as swoon worthy and sexy as ever. While his career was flourishing his personal life was stuck. Luckily his good pal Josh and his trusty sidekick had a few tricks up their sleeve to help him see the light. Nathan showed his capacity for love, compassion and forgiveness with how he dealt with Kelly and Olivia. I loved seeing Nathan and Ollie's relationship grow despite the sticky situation they had found themselves in. Nate and Olivia fully encompassed the title of Sexiest Couple Alive both professionally and personally. Their road to that title was riddled with tension and hurt and misunderstanding but also longing and hope. It was hard fought and well won. While I still would've liked to have seen a bit more of Troy's downfall I understand why M. Clarke didn't give it to me- vindictiveness wouldn't have been in Nathan or Olivia's nature. But karma has a funny way of catching up to you, and needless to say, Troy got his. And those he tried to take down with him rose above, no one higher than Olivia and Nathan. About the AuthorInternational Bestselling, Award-Winning, Author Mary Ting/M. Clarke resides in Southern California with her husband and two children. She enjoys oil painting and making jewelry. Writing her first novel, Crossroads Saga, happened by chance. It was a way to grieve the death of her beloved grandmother, and inspired by a dream she once had as a young girl. When she started reading new adult novels, she fell in love with the genre. It was the reason she had to write one-Something Great.
