 The first time I met Winter Marks, I almost took her out with my Jeep. To be fair, she came out of nowhere. I flirted with her, and she flipped me off and disappeared into the woods on her bike. But she left me a souvenir: a single hockey skate. Seemed to me that divine intervention shouldn’t be ignored. She was my icy Cinderella and I would be her Prince Not-So-Charming. Winter was more than just a sassy, badass hockey-playing hottie. She’s stuck in a prison of a life. And I’m the perfect escape. Neither of us expected to fall. Or for the truth to shatter us. 5 Heart Review by Lorena Helena Hunting continues to amaze me with her witty banter and her amazing words. She knows how to make me laugh with how funny her characters can be as well as how serious they can turn out to be. Winter and BJ are one of a kind that's for sure and they will forever be one of my top favorite characters of H. Hunting's. Everything about these two just got me and I just couldn't put my kindle down as I kept reading their story. How surreal to have a female hockey player and a male figure skater, maybe they came from the opposite sides of the tracks, but they were both kind at heart and their chemistry was just one of those that was undeniable from the get-go, talk about instantaneous! But when you trust too much, you can also end up in a bad situation and that's what happens to BJ for having too much trust in the person he thought he could when it came to skating, and that's because he's got such a good heart, but Winter is always there to catch him when he's falling so he's always lucky to have her by his side. The question is, what will happen to BJ and will he ever recover and be able to achieve his dream of becoming an olympic figure skater? I am beyond happy that I got to read this story and I just can't get enough of these families that keep growing and growing. Love them dearly and recommend ALL H. Hunting's books in a heartbeat!!
