Picture
Olivet Pierson needs his land.
Name your price, Mr. Harrington.
She has her reasons, and this muscular mountain of masculinity isn’t going to get in her way. However, her heart has a different plan after she accepts his crazy conditions: three nights up on the ridge.

George Harrington is a quiet, giant of a man.
No sale, Cricket.
He’s a war hero, a widower, and COO for the family brewing company, but his life lacks spontaneity. Then, she arrives, chirping away at him, roaming his body with those sky-blue eyes, and negotiating for something he won’t put a price on. Too bad his heart is immediately sold.

With the challenge accepted, this silver fox can no longer deny his desires for something a little different.

+++
Welcome to Blue Ridge where sexy silver foxes meet their match of feisty vixens.
The Harrington brothers are a spin-off from Second Chance, but don’t you worry, this over 40 romance can be enjoyed as a stand-alone.

4.5 Heart Review by Ashley

L.B. Dunbar has stuck gold again with Silver Brewer. As a kid I spent my summers in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains and the picture she painted took me right back to gravel roads, fireflies, drinking lemonade with a peppermint stick, starry nights and fishing in the river.
But I digress, back to Letty and Giant. This was a twist on the typical city girl meets country boy. Yes, Letty was polished and put together and Giant was broody and rough around the edges but they both had loved and lost in a way that changed them. And while there was no denying the instant attraction that went both ways, these two got off to a rocky start.

A challenge. A trek. Unexpected super sexy times. Understanding. A storm. Danger. Miscommunication. A blow out. And that's all in a few days! Whew. To say Letty and Giant's romance was a whirlwind is an understatement. The feelings they developed on the mountain were real and strong and not going away because of a disagreement and some distance. Letty took that first step forward, after all, it was her babbling that rocked Giant's world right off its axis.

I liked that they both worked to make something of their relationship. They challenged and pushed each other but also accepted the others limits. Communication wasn't their strong suit and it caused more problems than it should have.

With charm and tenderness, L.B. Dunbar examines love after loss. How love doesn't have to be hidden or compared, just its own. Hard is hard, these two know that better than most. But with the right person willing to fight beside you, with you, for you- like Giant for Letty and vice versa, the odds aren't so bad. Did it take them a bit to get out of their own way, yep. But that ending...total swoonville! I am so ready to head back to Georgia and meet the rest of these Harrington's!

About the Author

L.B. Dunbar loves the sweeter things in life: cookies, Coca-Cola, and romance. Her reading journey began with a deep love of fairy tales and alpha males. She loves a deep belly laugh and a strong hug. Occasionally, she has the energy of a Jack Russell terrier. Accused—yes, that’s the correct word—of having an overactive imagination, to her benefit, such an imagination works well. Author of over two dozen novels, she’s created sexy rom-coms for the over 40; intrigue on an island; MMA chaos; rock star mayhem, and sweet small-town romance. In addition, she earned a title as the “myth and legend lady” for her modernizations of mythology as elda lore. Her other duties in life include mother to four children and wife to the one and only.
