Stacia Palmer had one goal in life--to become an NFL quarterback’s wife.

For the past three years, she’s seduced her way through the university’s football line-up. But when she finally has a quarterback fresh off the draft, Stacia experiences a shocking change of heart. One that sends her back to the place she never thought she'd return to.

Vegas.

Once there, she finds that no one believes her. Least of all Pace Larson, her sexy on-again off-again ex who has never quite gotten over her leaving him for someone else. Of course, he’s now the starting quarterback and determined to claim her as his prize.

But can Stacia give him a second chance when he’s toyed with her emotions into the fourth quarter? Or will they run out of time?

Review by Lorena

K.A. Linde freaking rocked this book!

I am amazed by the style of writing from this author, I absolutely loved the fact that she portrayed her female character as a gold digger because that's very unusual in a book.

I was hooked with this beautiful, outstanding book, from front to end -- no lie!

I'm a huge sucker for second chance stories, so you bet this one was a top read for me!

Stacia was a strong female character that had no shame to let people know what her intentions have been from the beginning.  She is considered a gold digger and she's proud to wear that name because that's exactly what she is.

Sometimes we work hard for things and other times stuff comes very easily to us.  It seems like Stacia had no trouble in getting what she wanted when she wanted it.

I love a good love/hate relationship story and it seemed like Pace and Stacia had one of those relationships.  At times I'd get frustrated with them but that's the whole fun in the book right, if they got together right away then that would make the story a little boring, so we need the build up and the anxiety.

Let's not forget that this a sports romance and those are fast becoming one of my favorites themes to read.

This has to be a top read for me, without a doubt!

5 star read :)
