And let me tell you, Jane Blythe went for it from page one. There are some hard and heavy topics broached in Some Lies Will Haunt You, but I promise they're handled with care. I really liked Maggie. She had been through so dang much. And the more I learned about her past the more my chest ached for all she had endured and all she was facing now. Thank goodness Theo was there to help keep her grounded and out of her head. She brought out all of his protective instincts and had him questioning his stance on their relationship. Now if they could just figure out who had it out for the sweet woman. I have to say, the same back and forth between Theo and Maggie got a little too repetitive. That being said, when the twist hit and all was revealed, my heart was pounding. Things took a dark turn that I didn't see coming but also worked so well and explained so much. From start to finish, Maggie and Theo's friends-to-lovers romance was intense and dangerous, deadly and emotional.
