It took me years to find the courage to speak to Luka. He seemed exactly like me. Intelligent. Focused. Serious.

But he’s not the man I imagined.

His reality is cruel and dark. He traps me in his web, his power twisting tighter the more I struggle, until it’s hopeless. I can’t break free.

As he drags me unwillingly into his filthy world, I can’t ignore the terrifying idea circling my mind. What if I belong here with him?

Oh my god, Luka was just......oh my god!

I can't even put into words how much this man just stole my breath away. He was a deprived, sick, twisted and oh so freaking HOT! As much as I hated what he did and how he treated Addison, he also captivated me. I was eager to find out why he was the way he was, why did he choose Addison as the target to his sick schemes! What attracted him to Addison since she considered herself a mediocre type of girl? She was a simple girl who liked to keep to herself and just concentrate and focus on school. Her dream was to become a doctor some day and she was aiming high for that goal. But the one day she decides to go out and unwind is the day her world turns upside down (literally)!

Addison had a major crush on Luka when he was her TA in one of her classes the prior year but she didn't think she would run into him, unfortunate for her, that's the one person she runs into at the frat party she goes with her roommate and I'm sure she regretted it after the sordid events that took place afterwards.

I loved it, I am a huge fan of dark romance books and this was no exception. This was very different from Nikki. I loved her blindfold series. I read every single one of them and was just so mesmerized with that series that I was even more excited to read something a little different written by her.

Luka definitely fit the name of the title of this book. But even though he was a sick little f*cker, he also had a way to weave himself into our little hearts and find a place within ourselves to feel something other than hate or disgust for him, because there's a story behind his behavior.

Addison -- boy she was sure one twisted girl. She may have been very innocent and shy at the beginning, but once she got into Luka's world, her attitude changed really quick and became just as deprived and sick as he was.

This book is definitely NOT one for those who don't consent to strong scenes. I would not read this if you don't like anything hardcore dark. Even though it had a lot of BDSM elements in this book, I didn't consider it hardcore in that aspect, but just the whole plot of this story will keep you so involved in this book and so much more involved with it.

I am aiming for Ms. Sloan to write us a story of Vasilije, he was the brother that really intrigued me and I hope we get to read his story.

The Markovic family really has a dark element to them and very intriguing and exciting to read, so I'm hoping for more!

This was one totally wicked, twisted, captivating, exciting, deprived and majorly HOT book!!
