Grayson to make it that way with Stay With Me, it was so worth the emotional roller coaster. The opening alone had me rubbing my chest. There is nothing like teenage love (and hormones) to get the feel train moving. But what stood out the most was that I could feel the love between Allie and Jackson. It jumped right out of the pages. I liked Allie. She was resilient and patient. Kind and gracious. But also determined and dedicated to her son. And then we have Jackson. Talented and respectful. Generous with his time. Simply put, he is perfect book boyfriend material. And these two together were electric. Time didn't diminish their chemistry one bit. It took time and tears and talking but Jackson and Allie were able to move forward from the pain of their past and build hopes for their future. And when Allie's happiness is threatened, Jackson gets a bit too hot headed and things take a turn. I loved the way Allie handled the ridiculous situation- with maturity and class. From start to finish, Stay With Me was an emotional joyride. Jackson and Allie's story was full of pain but also so full of love. Their second-chance romance pieced together the broken bits of their hearts and they were stronger together for it. And that ending, had me wiping the happy mist from my eyes. About the Author K.L.
