Three months. Three months trapped on a ranch in remote Montana with my mom’s latest husband … and his dark, brooding son. I shouldn’t care that my new stepbrother’s talent with ropes goes beyond lassoing stray cattle. I shouldn’t care that his every look says he wants me … but he’s going to fight it to the bitter end. I shouldn’t care that as the summer rolls on, my fascination overwhelms my better judgment and now I’m dying to call my stepbrother … Master. Review by Lorena I don't know what it is but these Stepbrother books lately have me intrigued because each and everyone that I've read so far has been a bit different. I love the whole forbidden love thing going and I can definitely tell you that I was NOT disappointed with Stepbrother Master. I love reading about these taboo tales. I'm sure every taboo book is different in its own way. Emma goes to Montana to spend the summer visiting her mother who is going to marry again. She is not happy about this marriage but if it makes her mother happy then it makes her happy. When Emma gets to the ranch she meets Ford, the sexy as sin cowboy and she immediately feels an attraction to him. She finds out that he will be her stepbrother soon and she knows that he's forbidden. Ford can't help feeling attracted to Emma the moment he meets her but he feels like she's a spoiled brat and he doesn't care for that type of girl. The problem is, that they both can't help feeling something for each other and plan on exploring where it will take them. Emma gets all hot and bothered when she happens to accidentally catch Ford in the barn with a woman bound on her knees and he's paddling her. Emma feels like she would like to try that and know how it feels to be bound and spanked. Is it something that she will like and/or can handle? Will Emma and Ford take that step further and explore and experiment with each other even though they know they shouldn't since they are step siblings? AGAIN, I loved the story, I thought it was a bit different from the other books I've read about step siblings. I have loved each and every one I've read and this one definitely did not disappoint me. I was happy to see Emma and Ford get their HEA and I can't wait to read her next book "Stepbrother's Plaything"! 4.0 stars!!
