Yes please and thank you. It was exactly what made me want to pick up Striker. But what made me keep turning the pages was the dynamic between Hadley and Bennett. With an unknown threat coming for Bennett and more questions than answers at every turn, it was all they could do to try to get one step ahead. It meant a lot of time with Hadley putting her anger aside so they could work closely together. Talk about sexual tension and chemistry, under some simmering animosity of course. When they finally gave into what had been brewing between them it was so worth the wait. I loved watching these two people who were so dedicated to their work, drop their guard. More than that, I loved that they found a safe place to lay their fears and past hurts in one another. Did I guess who was behind all the mayhem before the big reveal? Yes. Was I disappointed about it? Not one bit. The way Anna Hackett wove the pieces together had me hanging on every word to see what would happen next. Whew! Can you say intense? My pulse was pounding as everything played out and the aftermath of what went down. But that little tease at the end...I can't wait to see what is in store for the Sentinel Security crew next!
