Swear by Adriana Locke

Ellie Pagan has a list of reasons to stay away from Ford Landry.

It’s a mile long and was so much easier to stick to when he was a world away. Now that he’s standing in front of her—body hard and chiseled from a stint in the military, suit cut to perfection, and a smirk she could never resist—remembering all the reasons why just got a whole lot harder.

Ford gets Ellie isn’t his biggest fan. He just doesn’t care.

Standing in front of him, giving him hell, she’s even prettier than he remembered. All he can think about is how she felt in his arms, the taste of her kiss, the sound of her giggle in the middle of the night. He may not know how to win her back, but he does know this: he may have let her go once, but that’s one mistake he won’t make again.

4.5 Star Review by Ashley

I just knew after the last book in Adriana Locke's Landry Family series that Ford's story was going to be something special and I was SO right! Swear hit me right in the feels- all of them. I went from antsy to heated to happy to heartbroken to happy again.

Oh that Ford Landry. Smart. Levelheaded. Sexy. Protective. Determined. Strong. Fearless...the list goes on and on and on....But the thing I liked the most about him is how limitless, fearless and bold his love was, especially for Ellie. The girl from his past who, more than anything, he wanted to be the woman of his future. Too bad Ellie wasn't interested in what he was selling.

But this is Ford- no is never the answer. I love how he wooed her (right out of her dress). These two were such a perfect fit. From fishing to painting their years apart just melted away. However, the hurt from them was always lingering. And when those fears come rushing to the forefront, all bets are off.

Gah! Don't even get me started on when the whole Landry clan gets together. Hilarious doesn't even come close to describing when the boys play. Be still my ever loving heart. The way Swear ended left me in a big pile of mushy, happy goo. It was absolute perfection, even if it did leave me a bit misty eyed.
