He was everything wrong in a man I was supposed to fall in love with.

𝙃𝙚 𝙬𝙖𝙨 𝙙𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙚𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙨.
His eyes told me so.

The words he tempted me with were simply sweet little lies to lure me in.
And now...

4.5 Heart Review by Lorena

I was hyped to read Gabriel and Hazel's story especially because at the end of Bad Daddy we got that little snippet of this couple and I just knew I had to read their forbidden affair.

I wasn't disappointed with Hazel and Gabe's story.  No matter what, we knew that they would have to be in hiding and seeing each other in secret because Hazel's dad is Gabe's best friend and we all knew that when Heath, Hazel's father found out, because no matter what, he was going to find out, was not going to be a good outcome for them.

The last thing a parent wants is for their child to date their best friend and a friend who is way, way older than the daughter.  But sometimes the feelings are hard to control and even though we know that it's inappropriate and forbidden, we sometimes want to take a bite of that forbidden fruit and that's just what Hazel and Gabe did, much the same as Heath and Violet.

I really did love this story and I enjoyed reading how Gabe and Hazel told their story of how it all began with them.

Give me a bad boy billionaire book and I will sit here and devour the sh*t out of it, especially when said bad boy is really a bad man (wiggling eyebrows)!

Overall, I loved the angst, the mystery and definitely the forbidden aspect of this book.
