Switch Hitter by Sara Ney

I knew something was wrong the second she walked in the door tonight; I just couldn’t put my finger on what it was.

Same hair color.
Same legs.
Same face.

Except…I look harder.
At the small dimple beneath her lip that wasn’t there the last time we went out. And her laugh—that laugh isn’t as loud.

This isn’t the girl I’ve gone out with the past few weeks.
It’s her twin sister, and they’ve switched places on me.

Only I’m not quite ready to let them switch back.

4 Star Review by Ashley

Teehehe...that's how I felt reading Switch Hitter. Like I was in on the secret and I guess I was so to speak. I'll admit that internally I was saying "no no no...don't do it Ameila. Just say no!". But alas Amelia said yes to her sister's ridiculous demand. It was something straight out of middle school.

I liked that Dash and Amelia were so similar but Lucy and Amelia were not. So it was no shock that Dash was thrown for a loop with the old switch-a-roo. He knew something was up, just not what. I loved the anticipation that built steadily between Dash and Amelia as they got to know each other better.

The best part of this short and sweet read from Sara Ney was the last few chapters. How Dash turned the tables on the scheming twins. There were moments along the way that were tender and others that were downright comical. I'm very much looking forward to more of the Jock Row stories in the future.
