*****This book contains scenes of a sexual nature. Genre: Erotica***** Male escort. That got your attention. Some of the most powerful and well known women in the country pay to have sex with me, some of them married. Some are into more than just straight sex, which is why they call me. Bondage, power play, submission…nothing is off the table. I will do anything for the right price. The stories I could tell you about a certain high profile congresswoman, or that innocent blonde actress. Trust me, she’s not so innocent. Guys would kill for my job. I’m living the fucking dream. Meaningless sex, no relationship hang-ups and I’m rolling in the dough. Life is perfect, just the way it is. Until I meet her. She changes everything. She makes me want more than I’ve ever wanted for myself and she believes in me. But she also thinks I sell insurance. I can’t stop what I do, but I can’t give her up. Eventually, my two worlds are going to collide and when they do, shit will hit the fan. Review by BrittanyHoly smokes, Batman. This book just blew me away! I was immediately interested when I learned that this book was about a male escort, and the best part about it? It’s written entirely in his point of view. “My name’s Liam Cooper, but most people just call me Coop. There are two things you should know about me. One; I’m a male escort and two; I’m damn good at my job.” The only reason the gorgeous Liam Cooper is a male escort is because of his mother. No, his mother didn’t make him have sex with women for money. His mother is very sick and this job has the means to provide for her. Coop loves his family; his mom, his sister Nic, her husband, and their two girls. Those are the only people he has ever loved, until an old childhood friend of his finds her way to him. When Nic invites Mia to their cabin for a weekend, Coop finds himself feeling things he never felt before. Nic convinces Mia to move into Coop’s apartment while she finds a place, since she’s new to town. Coop has to hide his job from not just his family, but Mia as well. The last time Coop had seen Mia was when he was fifteen years old. The night before she left town, she gave him his first ever blow job. He was devastated when he realized she was gone. Moving on with his life, he married at 18 and divorced at 20. “There was a very specific detachment I’d had from sex since my ex-wife, that I wasn’t able to put my finger on until this moment. Mia was warping my idea of what sex was, what sex should be. It was making me a little light-headed. Within the last hour, Mia had put something back into this experience for me, and I wasn’t sure what it was, but I don’t think I want it to stop. A part of me had never gotten over her all those years ago, and that part was threatening to take me hostage.” When Coop has a horrible experience with one of his clients, an experience that threatens his anonymity as an escort, he’s terrified of having to tell his secret to those he cares about. He doesn’t want them to find out any other way. “I used to think I was happy, but maybe I was only happy because I didn’t realize what I was missing?” Coop struggles to keep Mia in his life. He realizes what he feels for her is true, but Mia doesn’t know all of him. She knows Coop, the insurance salesman. Coop, Nic’s brother. Coop wants her to know him, Liam Cooper, and he’s willing to show her. This is definitely a five star read. There are steamy, explicit sex scenes and are intended for readers 18+. I would recommend this to those that are into erotic fiction. It was fun reading in the male’s point of view for an entire book. There is a sequel coming out in 2014, and I am dying for it! The epilogue ends in a semi-cliffhanger, but it wasn’t too bad. I just know that I can’t wait to read more about Coop and Mia! Congratulations on this novel, Missy Johnson! It was a wonderful read! About Missy JohnsonMissy lives in a small town in Central Victoria with her husband, and her confused pets (a dog who think she's a cat, a cat who thinks he's a dog...you get the picture). When she's not writing, she can usually be found looking for something to read.
