Jenner and Jo meet by coincidence at a Vegas bet bar and their chemistry is instant and their love affair takes off from that moment on. I love that Marni doesn't mess around and gives us all that deliciousness with her characters from the get-go. I couldn't put the book down from the moment I started. I was mesmerized with how the chemistry between the characters was instant and so real. Age is just a number and even though Jenner was maybe about 10-12 years older than Jo, that was not a factor in the relationship because Jo was very mature for her age. She was a very intelligent girl and she showed it and that's what attracted Jenner to her. Jenner was a major playboy and wasn't one to take a girl to his bed more than once but when Jo captured his eye, he knew from that moment that she wasn't going to be one of those that was a one time only kind of girl. He couldn't seem to get her out of his mind and not even when he did his damndest to stay away from her he just couldn't. There's only one problem, Jo is holding on to something that she knows could break their relationship that seems to start blossoming and going in the direction that she's been hoping for since the moment she met him. Even if she tells him the truth, it can backfire on her and is it a risk she's willing to take?? Boy oh boy this book was all kinds of hot and delicious and I love this Dalton men. I definitely can't wait to read Ford's book and see what woman is going to fall in love with not only him but with his daughter too. I try to never miss a book from Marni because if she's not breaking my heart, she's melting or making it beat double.
