The Day I Stopped Falling For Jerks by Max Monroe

I have a long history of dating the wrong men.

You know the ones I’m talking about.
The beautiful, charming guys who are quite literally too good to be true.
The ones who are impulsive in love and prefer short flings over long-term relationships.

I’m talking about the jerks.

The guys who taste so good, but are so very bad.

After going through the most ridiculous breakup in the history of breakups, I thought I’d learned my lesson. I officially put myself into jerk rehab and committed to changing my ways.

But, let’s be real here, love is never that easy.

Especially when an arrogant, charming, he-devil of a sexy alpha man gets involved.

Aussie accent.
Tanned skin.
Muscular, surfer bod.
Gorgeous brown eyes.
And the kind of sexy smile that brings women to their knees.

Oh, did I mention that he’s also my best friend’s brother?

Yeah. This story, my story, it’s a real doozy you guys.

The day I stopped falling for jerks, I met Oliver Arsen—the biggest jerk of all.

4 Star Review by Ashley

Ding, ding, ding! Max Monroe has done it again. Written a book that made me laugh, and roll my eyes and go ugh and swoon too. The Day I Stopped Falling for Jerks wasn't exactly what I was expecting but holy moly was it addicting. And not just because of all the gorgeous scenery that has me needing a beach vacation.

I was mainly hooked because of Lucky. I adored her. Sarcastic. Charismatic. Honest. I want her to be real so we can go vintage clothes shopping together. I love that the guts of this story felt like a girls night where my bestie was telling me all about this crazy thing that had happened to her.  And what a whirlwind Lucky's life became when she was thrown into Ollie's world.

For as opposed to Ollie's charms as Lucky was, there was something about him she couldn't resist. It could've been his accent, his stunning eyes, his washboard abs. Or the way he took time to help her conquer a few of her fears with kindness and patience. As much as Lucky thought he was a jerk, that side of him rarely presented itself, until it did. In a massive way.

Holy unexpected- made me wanna thrown something while my jaw was hanging open- twist! I didn't see that coming at all. Neither did Lucky. She was blindsided and all those feelings that she didn't want to have got even more muddled. Max Monroe has me itching to see how everything will pan out in Ollie's side of the story.
