I had a hidden life.

To everyone on the outside, I was Seth Andrews, an easy-going, fun-loving rowing coach, best friend to Colin Cassidy - the superstar quarterback of the New England Patriots, and infamous playboy.

To anyone looking in, my life was what others only dreamed of. I had the posh apartment, luxury car, and designer threads to prove it.

But what happens when the life you lead isn't the life your heart wants? What it needs?

How long can you live your public life when the one that really makes you happy is the hidden one?

***The Hidden Life is a spin-off novella following The Perfect Life and should only be read after the first book.***

4.5 Star Review by Ashley

What can I say except Erin Noelle has done it again in her follow up to The Perfect Life. You should read that first because there are overlapping events. I loved seeing the other side of the story in The Hidden Life. Especially since it came from the one character that was always on the periphery, in more ways than one.

Seth, oh I adore him and his ever hopeful heart. He's been dealt more than a crap hand by the one he loves the most. I had almost forgotten how much a self-absorbed jerk Colin was. There was more than one occasion I wanted to jump into my reader to hug and comfort him. I'm not gonna tell you what all happens after the big fall out (again, read The Perfect Life to know what I'm talking about). Just know that the ending was wonderfully Seth, Colin, Monroe and Oliver.

Erin Noelle dove head first into her very first M/M romance and nailed it. She didn't try to take it too far, she stuck with what she does best, romance with a touch of drama. I liked that it wasn't over the top- it was realistic and honest. The Hidden Life, at its core was a love story and something anyone in a relationship can relate to. It showcased all the struggle, pain and forgiveness that goes into building a relationship and making it work. I'm hoping, fingers and toes crossed, to see more of this cast of characters somewhere down the line.
