Anthony Bear and Christy Chapman are from two completely different worlds.

Anthony's the leader of a motorcycle gang that terrorizes Florida’s West Coast. As a child, he ran away from his family and the Cherokee Indian Reservation to enter a life of crime. As an adult, he leads a multifaceted life managing his two businesses—his legitimate landscaping venture, and his loan shark and underworld dealings. Driven by anger and betrayal, Anthony begins the hunt for Christy’s father, Van Chapman, after he runs out on a loan.

Christy’s privileged life is not as it seems. She has kept painful family secrets and hidden some of her own. She’s determined to find out the truth and expose Van, but her search delivers her right into Anthony Bear’s hands, adding kidnapping to his list of crimes.

Their worlds are as contrasting as the color of their skin. The only thing they seem to have in common is their mutual disdain for Van Chapman…and each other.

They couldn’t be more wrong.

4.5 Star Review by Ashley

To be honest, I went into this book with no expectations at all- I mean how could anything beat Nine Minutes but...bold statement alert: I do believe that I enjoyed The Iron Tiara more than Nine Minutes. CRAZY! I know! But once you read the amazingness that came from Beth Flynn I feel like you just might agree with me.

Holy wow- Anthony Bear is a force and a half to be reckoned with. That man has layers upon layers upon layers to him. I loved his brutal but promising backstory and how all it took was one look at Christy to change his existence.  This fierce storm in a tiny package came in, stirred up Anthony's world and left something beautiful, something better in its wake.

I really admired Christy's backbone of steel and heart full of compassion. These two sides of her brought out something new in Anthony. A side nobody knew he had in him, even himself. She was his perfect counterpoint. I loved how these two accepted each other for all that they were, and weren't. They saw the darkness and light in each other, embraced it and used it to lift each other up.

The Iron Tiara was full secrets and twists and schemes and truths on every page. But at it's heart, it was a love story that is unlike any I've ever read. I don't know exactly how Beth Flynn did it but she made me love someone more than Grizz (who I am happy to say, you will see a time or two in this book). GAH! The ending...a perfect set up for more. AND the final twist at the end...POOF- mind. blown! I sense many a re-read in the future!
