I love her dark reads but this was short, thrilling and angsty all wrapped up together. This may be about a young man that falls in love with his mom's best friend but there is so much more to this story than just that. As a matter of fact, there is more interesting things going around this town than we know and someone is out to get this cop and someone wants her out of the way pretty bad and is trying everything in their power to do exactly that, but she's a tough cookie and she won't go down without a fight. I loved how determined and strong the FMC was in this story and her beau was hell bent on making things work with her whether his family approved of his relationship with her or not.
