The steam factor was off the charts and had me turning those pages so fast to continue reading this amazingly, wonderful insta-love between a very well known photographer and an up and coming model. The age factor wasn't even an issue because when there is a connection, then age is just a number. Both characters blew me away from beginning to end. You would think this sexy god would favor his girl model over his photographer in their first session right! But nope, he preferred his sexy Lexie, as he called her because even though she was full of tattoos, piercings and had blue hair, she was still a great person who enjoyed her profession and was very good at it. She might look like a bad ass but that girl had everything going for her. After having one hot night together, it was hard to forget each other. But fate pushed them together again in Hawaii where Lexie had a shoot and Ryder did as well. From that moment on they were in constant contact. Things turn out the way they do for a reason but these two went through some hurdles to try and make this work between them. With Ryder working non-stop all over the world and Lexie concentrating on her profession back at home was definitely a challenge. My first book from Harlow Layne and she's blown me away with The Model. This was definitely a page turner that had me itching for more!
