There’s no turning back… The second I spared Isabel’s life, everything changed. I used to deal in death wishes. Now the instinct to protect her charts the course. Because every time I turn away from her, something turns me back. She’s uncovered a side of me that I can no longer ignore. Doesn’t change the fact that she doesn’t belong in my world. Isabel’s learning to hold her own, but nothing can prepare her for the life I’m being called back into. With a long road ahead of us, I won’t make promises I can’t keep. She can barely accept the dark deeds of my past—a bloody history spelled out in a ledger she’s more preoccupied with than I’d like. When an old associate sets a dangerous plan in motion, I can’t hide who I really am. And there’s no turning back… 4 Star Review by Ashley Oh the drama and danger continues for Tristan and Isabel in the next installment of The Red Ledger. But this one also had a good punch of steam and sweetness to it too. I still have no idea which way is up. However, I like that some of the mystery is starting to unfold- thanks to a highly unexpected ally. But maybe they really aren't an ally. Who knows at this point. I liked seeing some old faces resurface to help Tristan and Isabel in their daunting quest for freedom. There is still a lot that needs to happen and I know that Meredith Wild is going to throw me for at least seven more loops before this is all said and done. 4 Star Review by Brittany This book is short and sweet and full of twists and turns as Tristan and Isabel try and take down Company Eleven and try to get the hit called off of Isabel. They spend some sexy time between the sheets, making their relationship almost seem like Tristan hadn't lost his memory. There isn't much to say about this book because of how short it is. Only ten chapters and I finished it within a day. If you've been keeping up with this series, definitely read number four! Can't wait for number five!
