What happens when your life goes to crap the week of Christmas? You invite a hot Marine you met in an airport bar to come home with you for the holidays, to distract your crazy family from the truth.

With a handsy aunt, a meddling mother and a father concerned for the wellbeing of his daughter's eggnog, there's no chance Sam and Noel will have time to fall in love...or will they?

**The Stocking Was Hung is a full-length, standalone Christmas novel that will make you laugh, make you HOT and maybe even make you say, "Awwwww" a few times.

4.5 star review by Ashley

Tara Sivec has the incredible ability to write any genre of romance. You want heart-crushing angst, she delivers, you want to laugh, Tara's got you covered. The Stocking was Hung was just the light, slightly nutty, full of heart comedy that I needed.

There was just something about Noel that made her so real, and likeable. I fell for her sarcasm and grinchish spirit right from there start. And when fate happens to throw a sexy stranger in her path I just knew things were about to get very interesting. Oh that Sam; calm, quiet and perfectly content in his solitude until one sassy red head soaks him with a drink. Sam finds himself dumbfounded by this woman who somehow gets him to let his guard down. And convince him to play the roll of her boyfriend for Christmas at her family's home. The catch, Christmas is SO not Sam's thing.

Noels family warmed my heart to the core. It was one laugh out loud moment after another. Everything from the aunt to the eggnog to the pajamas to Santa's Workshop....really proved how completely and wonderfully fun the holidays can be. There was so much more too! This book was jam packed with traditions that ranged from the silly to the sentimental. And through it all Noel and Sam developed this bond that neither could explain if they wanted to.

But it wouldn't be the holidays without some sort of drama. And when it comes knocking on Christmas morning everything is thrown into chaos once again. Noel is stunned silent for a moment and in turn Sam makes a rash decision. But Sam being the great guy that he is, even with an aching heart, still delivered the Christmas magic to Noel. His gesture had me swooning and wanting to give him a hug at the same time. I won't tell you anymore than that but there is much more to the story.

If you're looking for a holiday read that is equal parts hilarious, sexy and sweet, The Stocking was Hung is definitely the book you need to pick up. You will laugh, you will cringe you will thank goodness your family isn't this crazy (the good crazy I promise). But most of all you will believe in the magic of Christmas and love.
