Handsome bad boy college student Trace Weston surfs, parties, and has a blast in the Palm Beaches as much as possible, sometimes avoiding class and definitely not excited about his imminent future working for his father's company. Lovely Vanessa Summers has escaped a dark, haunting past and moved to Florida to attend the same school and study writing. When she meets Trace, she is instantly taken with his irresistible charm. The bad news: she meets him because he’s lost a poker bet and is sentenced to a 30-day "vanilla" relationship with this girl he knows nothing about. While both Trace and Vanessa struggle to keep their secrets hidden, they can’t deny how attracted and excited they are about each other. But their pasts and promises threaten to erupt around them. Will they be able to find who and what is trying to keep them apart and still not lose The Vanilla Bet?

The first book I read from Ella Emerson was "I Am Atlas" and I got engrossed with that book and left me with an "OH MY GOD" face when I finished.  I have to say that Ms. Emerson really knows how to hold people's attention and keep you entranced with her books because she knows how to weave them in confusing you and trying to figure out who did what and/or why is this happening!

In this wonderful, suspenseful and intriguing book you will find out what the vanilla bet is about and who is trying to frame who and why is this person trying to harm that other person.

I don't want to get into too much detail and give it away because then I would basically be telling the story and I can't do that now can I!  You'll have to buy the book and read it for yourself and see what a great book this was.

I can just tell you that you will enjoy it as much as I have.

I have found a new author to stalk and swoon over her books <3

A total 4.5 star rating for this book!

About the Author:
Picture
Ella Emerson lives in Florida with her husband and three wonderful children. When she isn't writing you can find her watching movies or playing games with her children. She loves to read, write and eat pizza. A true lover of the beach, she enjoys the sun, surf, sand and sea. She also is a huge fan of the cinema and enjoys crazy 80's chick flicks. She was raised a military brat, and has seen her fair share of the world. She loves using her own experiences and turning them into lovely romantic tales.

In high school she discovered her love for reading, and even had one of her poems published in a national magazine. She continues to read, write, review and hopefully she can become an inspiration to her own children, as well as others.
