I was so excited to get this book as I read Three Simple Rules and I totally loved it and I knew deep down that I was going to feel the same way about Three Hard Lessons.  Once I started reading.....man was it hard to put down.  

Ms. Sloane has a way with her writing that will suck you up and consume you.  Once you start, you just can't put it down!  It catches your attention from the get-go.

Three Hard Lessons is a companion to Three Simple Rules, although they aren't a sequel, but you should definitely read Three Simple Rules first because you'll get to meet Payton in the first book.

Payton works for a high end sex club.  She has enjoyed working and doing what she does, she loves to please men and she certainly does love the lifestyle and the perks that come with it as well.  But after a while she feels like she might just not be enjoying it as much as she has.  A particular member has always requested her and only wants to see her, but for some reason this one particular night she doesn't want to see him and instead ends up in the arms of a new client and from there.....everything really changes her perspective of how she feels about her job.

Dominic has been working in Japan because his job had offered him a ridiculous amount of money to work out there for about a year.  He decides to come down to Wisconsin to visit his mother and in turn, he goes to Chicago to visit his good friend Logan.  Logan recommends he visit the sex club and enjoy a night out since Dominic has been pretty much celibate for a year living in Japan and all he's really looking for is someone to talk to, touch, feel and kiss.   Dominic sure paid a lot of money for requesting such simple requests, but the question is can Dominic break Payton's rules?  Will Payton allow someone to make her break her own rules?


This book was everything I expected it to be, romantic and very HOT.  The journey you take with Dom and Payton was fun and addicting, the characters were sweet, lovely and totally had your panties in a twist with the kind of sex they were having up in there!


I totally recommend this series, it has been one of my favorites and can’t freaking wait for more from this author!
