Suzy’s a control freak and has her life mapped out - work hard, find a man with a stable job, and live happily ever after. She’s content with the status quo, but her plan comes to a screeching halt when he enters her life and turns it upside down. City gave up on love when his heart was crushed in college, preferring to be the typical bachelor. He spends his nights hopping from one bed to another and his days working at his family tattoo shop, Inked. A chance encounter on a dark road makes him question what he had sworn off forever – a relationship. A night of passion and lust causes them to question everything. Is City the knight in shining armor to the damsel in distress? Can their relationship survive when a fantasy falls apart and a secret comes out that changes everything? This is the first book in the Men of Inked Series Review by Amanda Suzy is not the kind of girl to leave anything to chance; she has her whole life mapped out according to what she should be. Everything in her life has a checklist, from her career right the way through to the man she should marry. Enter Joseph “City” Gallo, the man who is about to shake up every single item on that list. City is a no nonsense, tatted up biker. He does not belong to any MC, but enjoys hanging out with the rougher than the average. Although Suzy is an innocent, when she meets City she does not even curse and barely drinks, when he is close she cannot help but think dirty and lascivious things. He makes her want things that she has no business wanting - considering that she has a plan in place for her life and he is not part of it. “Laugh while you can, sweet girl,” I growled against her lips. “I’m going to make you scream all those dirty words you’re too scared to say.” – Joseph “City” Gallo The course of true love never did run smooth though, and this rings true for Throttle Me. When things start getting a little too serious with City, Suzy does the only thing she knows how to do – she runs. I loved that City was a man’s man, alpha extraordinaire and that he had a heart of gold. Suzy shied away from him a lot initially and instead of just being an emotional bulldozer, he was willing to compromise and work things out. I loved that Suzy was a strong leading lady, it was awesome to read a female character with a backbone for a change. This book was written in dual perspective and although I am usually not a fan, I have to say that I really enjoyed it. I think where most dual perspective books fall down, is that you can tell that it is a woman trying to emulate a man’s thoughts. It isn’t like this in Throttle Me. City’s thoughts are definitely all alpha male and all his own. I am giving this book 4.5 stars. City is the tough guy every girl dreams of and Suzy is the no nonsense, list making girl we can all relate to. We all have an idea of what our happily ever after looks like – and sometimes we have to be willing to look past our idea of perfect to find happily ever after. “Sometimes life doesn’t give us what we’re looking for, but it gives us what is supposed to be.” – Chelle Bliss “Throttled” About Chelle Bliss Chelle Bliss is a USA Today Best Selling Author. I'm not aware of a specific keyboard brand or model called "TOkyo PREss." It's possible that it could be a lesser-known or niche keyboard, and my knowledge only extends up until September 2021, so I may not have information on very recent or obscure products. If "TOkyo PREss" is a newly established brand or a specialized product, you might want to look for information from more up-to-date sources or forums related to keyboards and technology.
