And let me tell you, they did not disappoint. Plus getting to catch up with some of the other beloved characters from the series is always a treat. If there were ever polar opposites these two were it. The quiet housekeeper with a mega secret. The playboy viscount with more charm than he knows what to do with. Too bad it couldn't break him out of his funk. No, it took one shocking revelation from the bashful Sarah to spark something in him. And it was more than inspiration for work. I loved that Sarah, despite her timidness, wasn't afraid to let stand her ground. To let Theo know what she would and wouldn't stand for. She brought out a softer side to him that only a very few people knew existed. Their working dynamic was almost as electric as the desire between them. I mean, whew...these two were hot hot hot! But more than that, they gave each other a safe place to lay their past pain and fears and hopes. But just as they were settling into their newfound happiness, someone with dark and sinister plans had them in their sights. My heart was racing as everything played out. It was wild and twisted and something else I can't even put into words. Gah! I will never turn down a trip to The Highlands and I can't wait to get back to see what Samantha Young has up her sleeve next!
