No promises. No expectations. No names. That's what Emmett Stone agreed to with the woman who caught his eye two months ago. After years of drama following the end of the Tin Gypsy Motorcycle Club, a no-strings fling with a mystery woman is exactly what he needs. Except as they find themselves together more and more, it's impossible for him to keep his feelings at bay. She's clever and sassy. She's gracious and kind. She loves riding on the back of his bike every Saturday afternoon and lazing in his bed every Sunday morning. She's the perfect woman. Except she's Nova Talbot, the daughter of his archenemy--the man who murdered his father. Her identity will cost her the man who's captured her heart unless she can convince Emmett her feelings are true. Before he learns the reason she proposed their fling in the first place. 4.5 Heart Review by Ashley One last ride to Clifton Forge...and I knew from the gut wrenching opening of Tin Queen that I was going to be put through it. On top of that, I had no idea how Devney Perry was going to make me root for a Talbot, but she did. I liked Nova. She was fearless and bold in going after what she wanted, and what she wanted was vengeance for all the pain the Tin Gypsy's had caused her and her family. Her first target, Emmett. But she didn't quite do all of her homework because she was not ready for him. His honesty, his kindness, his raw sex appeal. But most of all, for the way he made her feel. I loved these two together. The chemistry. The banter. The way they shared just enough but not too much to give anything away. And wouldn't you know it, they both did what they said they wouldn't...fell hard. But the truth always has a way of coming to light and it is not always what you think it will be. And when Nova's secrets were brought to life, everything changed (and there may’ve been tears from me). Lies, danger, misdeeds, half truths and hearts that had to learn how to forgive and forget...but could they? Nova and Emmett's enemies-to-lovers romance was the perfect culmination of this series. I loved the way Devney Perry wove this intricate story line of rivals and redemption, hate and revenge into a completely unexpected love story. While I am sad to put Clifton Forge in the rear view, I know that this is a series I will re-read time and again About the Author Devney is a USA Today bestselling author who lives in Washington with her husband and two sons.
