Lydia Montgomery is a Tramp.

After fleeing a tragic past, Lydia’s determined never to go back to the life she left behind at any price. She lands in Grand Haven, California—a city booming with billion dollar corporations and tech money—and everything changes.

Armed with the only lesson she learned from her mother, Lydia builds a life of routine, solitude, and success.

Nothing is out of reach when you’re beautiful.

Nearly a decade after her arrival, Lydia's the highest paid escort in the city, and only the most influential people in Grand Haven can get near her. She's a goddess among her clients, and out of reach to everyone else. Lydia's created the perfect illusion, and no one will take it from her again.

Until a misunderstanding lands her in the office of the city’s most eligible bachelor.

Talent Ridge is Grand Haven royalty. Despite running in the same circles as Lydia’s clients, he’s scandal-free and on his way to being the most powerful man in the area.

Their chemistry is undeniable, but a relationship has the potential to destroy everything they’ve worked for. Especially when Lydia is running from her past, and Talent is running toward a future she can never be a part of.

Beauty and money can’t save them this time.

Are Lydia and Talent willing to give it all up for each other, or will their differences cost too much?

5 Star Review by Lorena
I was emotionally invested in Tramp (Hush #1) and now I'm going to have to sit here and twiddle my thumbs until we get Camilla's and Weston's story next.

Lydia, a/k/a Cara Smith was an escort working for Hush, she had her clientele and got paid handsomely for her services. She was by far the most unemotional person that existed. Lydia didn't know how to do anything other than sell her body. She came from such a broken home with a mother who wasn't able to provide her a normal life and with a stepfather who gave her the creeps. Lydia suffered even though she loved her mother without a doubt, but then the inevitable happened and she had to look out for herself at the age of 16. She suffered to get to where she was now and she wasn't planning on changing that, until Talent showed up in her life.

When Lydia is asked to go see Talent as a surprise from a friend, there was a big misunderstanding between Talent and Lydia but boy did they have fun that night. She usually dressed professional for her clients since they were all mostly rich business men and she usually played a roll with these men. Talent honestly thought that she was there as a client, and Lydia thought she was playing a roll.

But when Talent can't seem to get Lydia out of his head, he starts seeking her out and he does his damndest to break down her walls and have her admit that she also has feelings for him as he does for her. Lydia is a tough cookie and doesn't show emotion nor does she like to show affection due to her past, but it seems like Talent is breaking down those walls little by little. She might be a high paid escort but she doesn't know what he also hides, Talent also has secrets so he doesn't find himself being any different than Lydia. He definitely doesn't like what she does and he is willing to do everything in his power to make her quit and find her true talent.

Lydia's madam had a lot to do with Lydia and Talent finding each other. She was like a mother to her and she always looked out for Lydia, all she's ever wanted was to make Lydia happy and she has succeeded in getting her to find love with Talent.

Once Talent's secrets have been uncovered, will Lydia accept him as he is or will she cut off ties? We all have secrets, but some are just too much to overcome and let go of.

I can tell you that Lydia and Talent were two freaking amazing characters and I loved how strong and protective Lydia was towards those she loved. I highly recommend this story!
About the Author: Mary Elizabeth was born and raised in Southern California. She is a wife, mother of four beautiful children, and dog tamer to one enthusiastic Pit Bull and a prissy Chihuahua. She's a hairstylist by day but contemporary fiction, new adult author by night. Mary can often be found finger twirling her hair and chewing on a stick of licorice while writing and rewriting a sentence over and over until it's perfect. She discovered her talent for tale-telling accidentally, but literature is in her chokehold. And she's not letting go until every story is told.   Connect w/Mary Elizabeth: Website: http://www.maryelizabethlit.com Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/maryelizabethauthor Twitter: https://twitter.com/TeamSmella23 Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/therealistelizabeth Goodreads: https://www.goodreads.com/author/show/7496678.Mary_Elizabeth Bookbub: https://www.bookbub.com/authors/mary-elizabeth Amazon: http://amzn.to/2grrj5z NL Signup: http://eepurl.com/bgkN29
