Booze, women, and brotherhood—that’s what my good friend Quinn’s bachelor party should have been.

Booze, one mysterious raven-haired woman, and an arrest—that’s what it was.

As Cam Mitchell, a New York Maverick and one of the best tight ends in the professional football league, my to-do list should be pretty simple.

Play ball.
Get laid.
Have fun.

But after one hour with a stripper named Trixie, that list of mine has shifted dramatically.

Tell Quinn to call my lawyer.
And, for the love of God, don’t get fired from the Mavericks.

I swear, I tried to make it stop there.
But one tiny thing keeps finding its way to the very top…

Find out more about the dark-haired beauty with the big blue eyes and make her mine.

Too bad it’s a hell of a lot more complicated than that.

How do you fall in love with a woman whose real name you don’t know?

Well, ladies and gentlemen…I’m about to find out.

From the New York Times & USA Today bestselling author of TAPPING THE BILLIONAIRE comes a hilarious and sexy standalone about a secret, forbidden romance and just how tricky love can be.

4.5 Star Review by Ashley

Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes YES! I am still feeling the swoon after finishing Trick Play. This is by far my favorite of Max Monroe's Mavericks Tackle Love books. It started with a bang and I was hooked from the first page.

Like serious uh-oh those Mavericks somehow always manage to find trouble with them wherever they go. But it was so much more than that...it was the pull that both Cam and Trixie felt. And no matter how much they tried to brush it off, they couldn't. Even when they wanted to. So Cam, being the relentless man that he is, finally did something about it.

I loved seeing them both slowly, oh so slowly, let down their walls. Even something as simple as sharing her true name put Lana (aka Trixie) at risk. As their feelings got more involved, things just kept getting more complicated. And when the pressure that was coming at her from all sides simmered over, she did the only thing she could think of, she tucked tail and ran. Oh how my heart just ached for Cam. He had given her so much and proved through his words and actions that he was a good and honorable man.

The chemistry. The humor. The mystery. The heat. The unknown. The family. The hurt. The charm of Cam. Lana's loyalty. ALL of it. Even the cheesy one-liners made Trick Play unputdownable. And yes, there was more than one appearance from the other Mavericks and even Wes (sigh) that just added to the overall feel goodness of this book. Especially with the way this ended...all the heart eyes and smiles.
