Before Fannin knows what’s happening, Jasper is playing knight in shining armor and she likes it. And him. A lot. With his smooth Scottish accent, ridiculously good looks, and that beard? She doesn’t stand a chance. Jasper isn’t in the habit of rescuing anyone. But when Fannin is confronted by her ex about her lack of a date for his upcoming nuptials, Jasper can’t help but step in. Her wild hair, violet eyes, and killer legs have him doing a few things he normally wouldn’t. Never mind that he shouldn’t be getting involved with the woman in charge of making the bar a global success. Their fake relationship becomes more real than either thought it would. What a delightfully witty and sexy and sock it to 'em read Twisted was! If there is one thing Mandi Beck excels at, it's writing the dirty talk and Jasper James is hands down the CEO of Dirty Talk Uni. I adored Fannin and all of her sass. But she was also so classy. She handled the ridiculous situation she found herself in the middle of much more gracefully than I ever would have. It didn't hurt that she had a beast of a man, Jasper James, helping her out. WHEWEEEE Jasper James! Tall, whisky loving, bearded and with an accent. And the deliciously dirty things he said with that accent- had me blushing! AND what's even better was just how much he adored Fannin- from her wild hair to her smart mouth and tender heart. There was no denying the insta-lust and the feelings that developed as they spent time together. When the weasels came out to play and tried to tear Fannin down, it was Jasper who stepped up big time. But that wasn't so great for the burgeoning relationship. But fear not, Jasper is a man with a plan.GAH!!! I absolutely LOVED how this short, sexy and sweet read ended. About the Author Mandi Beck has been an avid reader all of her life.
