It's still sexy and dangerous but there is a darker element here that I really enjoyed. It was grittier, more tragic but also laced with buckets of hope. I really liked how both Mark and Lara tiptoed the fine line between right and wrong. How they both knew the risks they were taking personally and professionally. How the only thing that really felt right was when they were together. Just as the tide was turning for Mark and Lara, the other shoe dropped. Holy unexpected, heart breaking, stomaching aching twist. I wanted to simultaneously hug and curl into a ball with Lara. But that ending...just gah!! I am so ready for the next part of this duet.
