He’s my best friend’s brother – and the only boy I’ve ever loved. Movie star, manwhore, and totally off-limits. Until now. I told myself it was time to move on, until one epic night changed everything. Now there’s no denying the way I feel when he touches me, or the reckless desire in his eyes. Once we cross that line, there’s no going back. But can I risk it all for him when he’s still hiding secrets of his own? Some love stories are destiny. Ours is still unwritten. ___________________________________________________________ (Content below this line is only shown after clicking "Read More") Review by Lorena Unwritten was a cute story about a girl who falls in love with her best friend's brother. Zoey has harbored a love for Blake since she was a teenager but she knew that the love was forbidden. When Zoey first met Tegan, Tegan made it clear that she didn't want girls to friend her to get to her brothers so Zoey felt like she had to hide her feelings for Blake. Blake was oblivious to Zoey's feelings because Zoey made sure she hid them well. Zoey considered The Callahan's like a family since her mom and dad never had time for her and pretty much locked her up in a boarding school when she was a teenager. Once she graduated, she figured that her best bet was to go to Paris for a while and try and forget Blake. But once Zoey returns to Beachwood Bay as an assistant to a director, she see's Blake again and her feelings for him return. This story keeps going back and forth. Zoey tries to make Blake jealous by pretending to flirt with other men and Blake gets jealous and that's when he realizes that Zoey means more to him than he wants to admit. I totally digged that Zoey just took it upon herself to find her courage and just go up and tell Blake how she has felt for him and what she wants from him. It sure left Blake stunned, but that was the only way that Zoey was going to get anywhere with Blake (if at all). Blake irritated me at times because he knew that Zoey has always harbored feelings for him, his brothers even told him so. So why did he have to act like it was such a big surprise when Zoey kissed him on New Year's! Either way, this was a cute read and I really, really love reading these forbidden loves. Something about these types of stories keeps me intrigued and it captivates me and each story always has a little twist and a different taste for my liking! 4.0 stars for this great read!!
