My life is perfect, but my story isn’t.
My tastes are frowned upon.
However, I don’t allow society to dictate my proclivities.
I’m cruel. I’m cold. I’m heartless.
The list of submissives wanting me to train them is endless.
But when two of my newest students walk in, I’m challenged in every way.

3.5 Star Review by Ashley

Whoa. Cue the sexy! Being my first read from Dani René I wasn't totally sure what to expect. But let me tell you Vice was deliciously dirty. And a little dark which isn't really my cup of tea. This book was intense and covered some touchy subjects but for some reason I found it hard to look away.

I think it was Chance. That man was magnetic. He was bold and adventurous and not afraid to stand his ground. When I learned all that both he and Oliver endured my heart just ached and it made me root for them even more. Even when Oliver was pushing Chance away. But Chance knew his heart and he went to battle with and for Oliver. It took a fiery Irish lass, heaps of patience and facing down both of their traumatic pasts to get there.

I will say, that jumping in with the last book of an ongoing series probably wasn't the best idea because there were other characters that were present in this story that I had no clue about. But Vice was indeed a standalone. I found the romance between Chance and Oliver a bit lacking. Don't get me wrong, these two were off the charts hot, especially when Cayleigh was part of the mix, but I wanted to feel more of their connection. Dani René gave me two complex and wounded men that connected the only way they knew how. It was their passion in the bedroom that led to the relationship outside of it.
