My life is one long fevered dream, balancing between being killed or killing.
The name Harley Crow is one to be feared.
I am an assassin.
A killer.
The villain.

I own it. I choose this life. Hell, I crave it. I hunger for it. The smell of fear makes me hard and is the very reason the blood runs through my veins.
Until I meet her…

Marlowe Masters.
Her darkness matches my own.
In my twisted world of dancing along the jagged edge of the blade…
She changes everything.
No weapon can protect me from the kind of death she will ultimately deliver.

*Villains & Vodka is a dark billionaire romance. If you don’t like a splash of shock, a dash of taboo, and a heavy dose of sex, then don’t take a sip of this TOP SHELF cocktail.

4 Star Review by Brittany

Harley Crow is an assassin. A trained killer. A hitman. And one of the owners of the elite gentleman's club, Spiked Roses.
Marlowe Masters is a server at Spiked Roses and has had her eye on Harley for the longest time. She's never had the chance to talk to him, but when there's an opportunity for that to happen, she takes it.
And now she's got herself spending a weekend with the trained assassin.

This book was pretty good. I signed up to read it because it sounded like a great darker romance and had the word vodka in the title. I love vodka.
It was a shorter read, and I finished it in about a day. I couldn't put it down, however, wanting to know what was going to happen.
First off, and this is totally my opinion and this doesn't have anything to do with the rating I gave this book, but the main characters' names are weird. Again, just my opinion and has nothing to do with the rating I gave it.
Second, I feel like Marlowe and Harley could both have been developed just a bit more as individual characters and as a couple. There were many parts to their weekend that were skipped over, like a day that they just laid in bed doing nothing. It may sound boring to some, but I think that would have been beneficial to the development of the two.

Now, the first sex scene in the book was pretty hot. It got pretty intense between the two, but I feel like it was rushed. It needed to be slowed down quite a bit.
Alta Hensley also does a really good job developing her minor characters and getting the reader intrigued in their stories. I am definitely now awaiting Victor's story, wanting to learn more about his dolls.
